Education is the key to overcoming poverty and building resilience in the next generation. 

 

The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child recognizes education as a legal right of every child. Yet education remains inaccessible to many.

 

In Haiti, the public school system struggles to pay monthly teacher salaries, therefore many schools are privately run by non-governmental organizations.

 

Joy and Hope of Haiti is committed to providing a solid Christian based education in accordance with the Haitian curriculum. The goal of our program is to ensure that our students are prepared to navigate life and contribute to society once they graduate.
