Work Trips
For several years, groups of men, women and students from southern Ontario have been going to Haiti under the auspices
of OMS International and Men for Missions
International to participate in The Joy and Hope of Haiti's short term work projects. These work projects are carefully
considered in advance to address specific needs in Haiti.
Work projects typically run for a six week period and individuals can choose to go down for one, two or more weeks depending on their finances. The cost of participating in a work trip is the responsibility of the individual but it should be noted that receipts are issued for tax deduction purposes. As there is alot of planning involved to ensure that these work projects are a success and to ensure people have enough time to raise funds we like to distribute the information about our upcoming projects well in advance.
